Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the final acceptance of
public streets within Fieldstone Creek 6th Addition.
Overview
D.R. Horton, Inc. submitted a letter, dated October 19, 2011, requesting acceptance of the
public streets within Fieldstone Creek 6th Addition. The major contractor performing work on this
project is S.R. Weidema, Inc.
The curb and gutter along with the first lift of bituminous pavement were installed in 2010, and
the final wear course was completed in 2011. The street improvements for the above -
referenced project have been inspected by WSB and the Public Works Department. The
required one -year maintenance bond and final lien waivers have been received from S.R.
Weidema, Inc.
Engineering recommends approval of final acceptance of the public streets for this project.

RE: Fieldstone Creek 6th Addition
Dear Zach:
Please accept this letter as a request for City acceptance of the public streets within Fieldstone
Creek 6th Addition. It is also requested that the City release the letter of credit for this subdivision
(SLCMMSPO5966), which has a current balance of $68,470.87. All of the homes have been built
and the yards have been sodded in this neighborhood. The development work is now complete.
Enclosed are copies of the final pay application for this subdivision, along with copies of the
corresponding lien waivers. The contractor can produce the maintenance bonds, per your direction,
once you have had an opportunity to review the enclosed information.
