Overview D.R. Horton, Inc. - Minnesota is requesting final acceptance of the public utility and street improvements in Quail Ridge Third Addition. The major contractors performing work on this project were: Utilities: S.R. Weidema, Inc. Streets: Bituminous Roadways, Inc. The utilities were constructed in 2010 and the curb and gutter along with the first lift of bituminous pavement were installed in 2010 and 2011. The wear course was installed in 2011. The utility improvements for the above - referenced project have been tested and inspected by WSB and Assoc. and the Public Works Department. All necessary paperwork, including final pay estimate and maintenance bond, has been submitted. Primary Issues to Consider O Do the completed improvements meet City standards? It is also requested that the City reduce the letter of credit for this subdivision (SLCMMSP06106), which has a current balance of $185,248.33, We request that the Letter of Credit be reduced to $18,575.00. This amount will cover any remaining tree preservation or erosion control work that may be needed on the remaining lots that have not been built upon. Enclosed are copies of the final pay application for this subdivision, along with copies of the corresponding lien waivers and a maintenance bond for the project Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 952 - 985 -7823.
