HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.iDate: 17 January 2012 Item No. JAMESDALE ESTATES 2 ADDITION FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC STREET IMPROVEMENTS Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the final acceptance of public street improvements within Jamesdale Estates 2 Addition. Overview Tradition Development is requesting final acceptance of the public street improvements within Jamesdale Estates 2 Addition. The major contractors performing work on this project were: General Contractor: Enebak Construction Company Streets: McNamara Contracting, Inc. The curb and gutter along with the first lift of bituminous pavement were installed in 2010. The wear course was installed in 2011. The street improvements for the above - referenced project have been inspected by WSB & Associates and the Public Works Department. All necessary paperwork, including the final pay estimate and maintenance bond, has been submitted. Primary Issues to Consider Do the completed improvements meet City standards? These items have ilow all been completed. We'd also like to request that the City formally accept the streets and release. associated Letter of Credit. I've attached the final pay estimates and lien waivers for your review. Upon notification from the City regardir' the necessary amounts, we raill provide the City with the required Maintenance Bond.
