MMR FIRST ADDITION
FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the final
acceptance of public utility improvements within MMR First Addition.
Overview
Appro Development, on behalf of Minneapolis Meeting Rooms, Inc., is requesting final
acceptance of public utility improvements within MMR First Addition. The major
contractors performing work on this project were:
General Contractor: Appro Development
Utilities: Stocker Excavating
The utilities were constructed in 2011. The utility improvements for the above -
referenced project have been tested and inspected by the Public Works Department.
All necessary paperwork, including the final pay estimate and maintenance bond, has
been submitted.
Primary Issues to Consider
. Do the completed improvements meet City standards? The completed
improvements comply with City standards.

Dear Mr. DuChene:
APPRO Development, Inc., on behalf of our client, Minneapolis Meeting Rooms, requests
acceptance of the public utilities for the above project. This work was done per the Development
Agreement. A 2 -year Maintenance Bond in the amount of $ 19,325.00 from Stocker Excavating
will be provided to the City of Lakeville by Friday, January 6, 2012.
We enclose copies of Stocker's final draw request and final lien waivers for the above work for
your use.
