CITY OF LAKEVILLE COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA

committees and boards. Decisions are based on this information, as well as City policy, practices, input from constituents and a council member’s personal judgment. If you have questions, comments or information regarding an item not on the agenda, please step forward to be recognized by the Mayor during the “Citizens’ Comments” item on the agenda. Please state your name and address for the record. All comments are appreciated. A copy of all printed material relating to the agenda items is available for public inspection at the City Clerk’s desk.

All matters listed under Consent agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be acted on by one motion in the order listed below. There may be an explanation, but no separate discussion on these items. If discussion is
desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately.
a. Claims for payment.
b. Minutes of the February 6, 2012 City Council meeting.
c. Temporary liquor license for All Saints Catholic Church.
d. Resolution approving plans and specifications and setting a bid
date for 2012 miscellaneous roadway repairs and overlays,
Improvement Project 12-01.
e. Authorize Barr Engineering to complete Letter of Map Revision
(LOMR) for Lake Marion outlet.

f. Joint Powers Agreement with south metro cities for street
maintenance services.
g. Resolution approving a Comprehensive Plan amendment to bring
property located at 11950-185th Street West into the current

h. Grant a 100-day extension for recording the final plat of Spirit of
Brandtjen Farm 8th Addition.
i. Lakeville Fire Department Policy and Procedure Manual.
j. Ordinance amending Title 8, Chapter 1 of the Lakeville City Code
concerning the Fire Department.
k. Resolution accepting donations to the Heritage Center.
l. Tree work license renewal for Valley Tree Service, Inc.
m. Annual Plan Agreement with Minnesota Department of Public
Safety, State Patrol Division, for professional/technical services.
n. Resolution accepting donation from Residential Mortgage Group,
Inc. to the Police Department.
o. Contract with Apple Valley Ford for Police Department vehicle
rental.
p. Set a special Council meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on March 5,
2012.
7. Ordinance amending Chapters 4, 10 and 11 of the Lakeville City Code
concerning health and sanitation, subdivisions and zoning; and a
summary ordinance for publication.
8. Conditional use permit to allow a solid masonry wall (fence) to be
constructed on the Midstate Reclamation and Trucking property, 21955
Grenada Avenue.

9. Resolution approving plans and specifications and setting a bid date for
2012 street reconstruction, Improvement Project 12-02.
10. Resolution approving plans and specifications and setting a bid date for
renovation of the former Police Station into Heritage Center.
11. Labor Agreement between City of Lakeville and Law Enforcement Labor
Services, Inc., Local No. 177, for 2012-2013.
12. Resolution granting approval of position classification and pay plan for
2012-2013.
