HomeMy WebLinkAbout0890ORDINANCE NO. 890 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA, COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE, THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: SECTION 1 . Section 10- 4 -8(h) of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read as follows: Request For Change: The dedication and cash contribution requirements are presumptively appropriate. A subdivider may request a deviation from the presumptive requirements based upon the anticipated impact of that particular subdivision or average land values for the category of land being subdivided. The request must be made before final subdivision approval by the city. SECTION 2 . Section 10- 4 -8(I) of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read as follows: Residential Subdivisions: In residential subdivisions where a land dedication is required, the following formula will be used to determine the dedication requirement: Category Units Per Acre % Park Ded. /Acres of Development Low Density Residential Less than 3.0 12% Medium Density Residential More than 3.0 to 9.0 14% High Density Residential More than 9.0 17% In commercial or industrial subdivisions where a land dedication is required the following formula will be used to determine the dedication: six percent (6 %) of the buildable land being subdivided. 164095v02 1 RNK:r05/07/2012 SECTION 3 . In lieu of land dedication the city may require the following cash contribution: Commercial $7,693 per acre Industrial $4,558 per acre High Density Residential $ 1,824 Per dwelling Unit Medium Density Residential $ 2,403 Per Dwelling Unit Low Density Residential $ 3,532 Per Dwelling Unit SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall be effective October 17, 2011. ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 2012, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota.
