Malt -O -Meal Acquisition / Expansion
Earlier this week, I was informed by Malt -O -Meal (Now MOM Brands) that they have signed
a purchase agreement to purchase the New Morning Windows building and property which
is adjacent to their existing building in the Fairfield Business Campus. The New Morning
Windows property is comprised of a 65,000 square foot building on 10 acres. This will be in
addition to their existing 98,000 square foot building on 11.9 acres. This will result in MOM
Brands having over 21 acres and 166,000 square feet of building in the Fairfield Business
2 aa t mpus. They are scheduled to close on the New Morning Windows property on September

MOM Brands also announced to its employees this week that it will not be renewing its lease
for their corporate headquarters in the IDS Building in Downtown Minneapolis. This lease is
scheduled to expire in August of 2014. This will result in 100 additional corporate office
employees being transferred to Lakeville within the next two years. MOM Brands also
leases 6,000 square feet of property in Eden Prairie which they will vacate by the end of this
year and that operation and employees will re- locate to Lakeville.
This is obviously good news for Lakeville as it will now be home to the Corporate
Headquarters for MOM Brands along with its more than 325 employees.
