Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve Resolution
Authorizinq Sale of Assets.
Passage of this motion will result in the sale of a pick -up truck to Lakeville Arenas.
Overview
City vehicle #0883, a 2006 Chevrolet 1 /2 ton pickup with 97,000 miles, is scheduled to be sold
in 2012. The Lakeville Arenas has submitted a bid of $8,000 for the unit which they intend to
use to transport materials between the Ames and Hasse Arenas.
Primary Issues to Consider
• The vehicle is being sold on an "as -is" basis.

has taken out of service. Our offer of $8,000 would be for the pick in "as -is" condition with no
modifications or changes requested.
