Passage of this motion allows the Lakeville Lions to conduct lawful gambling at Casa Nostra Pizzeria, 20198 Heritage Drive. Overview The Lakeville Lions has applied to the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board to conduct lawful gambling at Casa Nostra Pizzeria. The application requires a resolution of approval by the City Council. Primary Issues to Consider • Does this organization meet the qualifications for a Lawful Gambling Premises Permit? • The Lakeville Lions is a qualified organization and currently conducts lawful gambling at Carbone's and Goodfeila's. WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville has received an application from the Lakeville Lions for a La VIul Gambling Premises Permit at Casa Nostra Pizzeria & ION istorante Italiano; and WHEREAS, the Lakeville Police Department has reviewed the application and run appropriate checks on the organization and applicant, and found all parties clear of any concerns relating to the issuance of a gambling premises permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lakeville grants approval to the Lakeville Lions to obtain a Lawful Gambling Premises Permit from the Minnesota Gambling Control Board for lawful gambling activities at Casa Nostra Pizzeria & Ristorante Italiano, 20198 Heritage Drive.
