HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.le IL January 16, 2013 Item No. FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC UTILITIES AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN VILLAGE CREEK 4 ADDITION January 22, 2013 City Council Meeting Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: M Passage of this motion will result in the acceptance of the public utilities and streets constructed in Village Creek 4 Addition. Meridian Land Holdings, LLC is requesting final acceptance of the public utility and street improvements within Village Creek 4 th Addition. The contractor performing work on this project was Friedges Contracting Co., LLC. The utilities were constructed in 2012. The curb and gutter along with the first lift of bituminous pavement and the wear course were installed in 2012. The utility and street improvements for the above - referenced project have been tested and inspected by WSB and the Public Works Department. All necessary paperwork, including final pay estimate and maintenance bond, has been submitted. Primary Issues to Consider Do the completed improvements meet City standards?
