Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital for Lakeville Police K -9 Dogs
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept donation of veterinar
services provided to Lakeville Police Department K -9 dogs by the Cleary Lake Veterinary
Hospital.
Overview
Since 2003, the Cleary Lake Veterinary Hospital has provided veterinary services to the
Lakeville Police Department's K -9 dogs at no cost to the City of Lakeville.
The K -9s cared for by Cleary Lake veterinarians include Blue, Shadow, Zeus and Tank. These
veterinary services include annual checkups, vaccinations and preventative medications.
Along with these services, Cleary Lake has cared for our K -9s when they have been sick or
injured.
These veterinary services provided to our K -9s ensure that they remain healthy and effective
as an important and valuable asset to our Police Department in helping to make Lakeville a
safer community.
This resolution will acknowledge the donation of these veterinary services of an approximate
fair market value of $1018.82 to the City of Lakeville.
