RESOLUTION NO. 13 -67
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS, Target Corporation awarded Lakeville Police Department a grant in the
amount of $500 to be used for distributing crime prevention materials during the Night To
Unite event on August 6, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or
personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville
that the grant award of $500 from Target Corporation is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks Target
Corporation for its generous donation.
