CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
September 16, 2013
Mayor Little called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

Mr. Feller provided an overview of the 2014 preliminary budget and

Motion was made by Swecker, seconded by Davis to approve Resolution No. 13 -79 approving
the preliminary 2014 (property) tax levy and preliminary 2014 budget; and Resolution. No. 13-

Ordinance Amendment Concerning Underground Utilities

Mr. Kuennen presented a proposed ordinance amending Title 7, Chapter 6, of the City Code,
which clarifies the burial of existing overhead utilities adjacent to new developments. He
explained that in order to maintain consistency with past and current practices regarding the
burial of overhead utilities, the City Code is being amended to clarify that,e -iistping overhead
utility lines adjacent to new plats must be buried or an escrow must be submitted for the
future burial of the overhead utilities
