ACCEPTING DONATION
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accent a donation from Country
Joe Miller Homes.
Overview
Country Joe Miller Homes offered to donate the Lakeville Police Department a HyperFire
License Plate Capture camera valued at $659.51 for the purpose of deterring criminal activity.
Primary Issues to Consider

RESOLUTION NO. 13 -109
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS, Country Joe Homes has offered to donate a HyperFire License Plate Capture
camera to the Lakeville Police Department valued at $657.51 to be used to deter criminal activity;
and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or
personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville
that the donation of d H License Piaic Cap me CdrY'icra C--- T-- CVUiMy JGe Homes is
hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOVVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks Country Joe
Homes for the generous donation.
