Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve final acce Lance of
p ublic streets within Chadwick Farm Fifth and Sixth Additions.
Passage of this motion will result in the approval and acceptance of the developer- installed
public street improvements constructed with the Chadwick Farm Fifth and Sixth Addition
subdivisions.
Overview
James R. Hill, Inc., on behalf of D.R. Horton, Inc. — Minnesota, is requesting final acceptance of
the public street improvements that were constructed with the development of Chadwick
Farm Fifth and Sixth Additions. The prime contractor responsible for work on these projects
was S.R. Weidema Inc.
The utilities, curb and gutter, and first lift of bituminous pavement were constructed in 2012.
The final bituminous wear course was constructed in 203, The street improvements for the
above- referenced projects have been tested and inspected by WSB and Associates and the
Public Works Department.
Primary Issues to Consider
Do the completed improvements meet City standards? All work was satisfactorily
completed consistent with the City's construction standard specifications and the
developer has met the administrative requirements for final acceptance.
