Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve a resolutionrg anting
approval to the Lakeville Hockey Association to conduct lawful gambling at 210 Bar & Grill,
subject to Council approval of an on -sale and Sunday liquor license to 210 Bar & Grill LLP
Passage of this motion allows the Lakeville Hockey Association to conduct lawful gambling at
210 Bar & Grill, 8275 - 210th Street West, provided the City Council approves the issuance of an
on -sale and Sunday liquor license as requested.
Overview
The Lakeville Hockey Association has applied to the State of Minnesota Gambling Control Board
to conduct lawful gambling at 210 Bar & Grill. The application requires a resolution of approval
by the City Council.

Subject: Lawful Gambling Application Lakeville Hockey Association
I have reviewed the lawful gambling application for the Lakeville Hockey Association,
with Mark Olsen as the applicant, for their operations to be conducted at the 210th
Bar and Grill.
No reasons for denial have been found.

RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING
WHEREAS, the City of Lakeville received an application from the Lakeville
Hockey Association for a permit to conduct lawful gambling at 210 Bar & Grill, located
at 8275 — 210th Street West; and
WHEREAS, the Lakeville Hockey Association is a qualified organization and
currently conducts lawful gambling at Babe's, Harry's and Ole Piper restaurants in
Lakeville.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lakeville grants approval to the Lakeville Hockey Association to conduct lawful
gambling at 210 Bar & Grill, 8275 — 210th Street West.
