Conclusions
•Intersection control at 50/60 does affect gaps along
the corridor, but does not noticeably affect delays.
•Adding a signal at 192nd Street does not noticeably
improve delays for 188th Street or Jaguar Avenue in
the short term.
•The way to noticeably improve delays along the
corridor is to improve to 4 lanes.
•Expanding to 4 lanes will be necessary to meet future
demands.

Conclusions - Access Plan
•Short Term: Leave access as-is for KTMS
•¾ access between Ipava/Icenic to be
considered with corridor improvements
•¾ access at Icenic
•Long Term: Plan gives guidance if/when
safety/operational issues arise at key
intersections

f Develop Preliminary Engineering Plans and Cost Estimate for the
reconstruction of Kenwood Trail (County Road 50) to a four-lane
divided roadway (Ipava Avenue to Dodd Boulevard)
f Conduct an Economic Development Study to review current zoning &
land use
f Develop potential redevelopment opportunities and site configurations
integrated with future transportation improvements
