Passage of this motion will result in the ability of the Lakeville Lions to conduct their annual Pan-O-Prog event at the Lakeville Area Arts Center on Thursday, July 9, and two additional events on Friday and Saturday, July 10-11. Overview The Lions would like to hold their annual Beer, Brats and Bingo event, which includes bingo and the outside service of beer. The event is to be held at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, and the beer will be distributed between two large tents that are placed along Holyoke Avenue and 210th Street. Although all ages are welcome to participate in this event, past history has shown those under 21 years of age primarily concentrate under the bingo tent, which has minimal alcohol consumption taking place. The Lions would also like to hold similar events at the Arts Center on Friday and Saturday, and only persons age 21 or over will be allowed to attend. A site plan has been provided with the application that shows the layout of the fenced in areas, the tent locations, and the food/alcohol distribution area. The Lions have provided a certificate of liability insurance naming the City of Lakeville as additional insured. The Lakeville Police Department has no objection to the issuance of a temporary on-sale liquor license, subject to the attached stipulations.
