2015 Street Reconstruction.
Phase 1 of the project has started.
Pavement has been removed and
crews are working to replace water
main in affected areas as well as
install drain tile and geotex fabric to
separate the subgrade from the
aggregate to both stabilize the soils
and promote effective drainage in
the area.
50/60 Roundabout.
With the closure of the intersection
of Kenwood Trail (CSAH 50) and
185th Street (CSAH 60) work has
progressed rapidly with the
removal of the old asphalt and
preparations for the new road bed.
Crews have been working to
relocate private utilities and install
storm sewer improvements. Work
will continue through August.
Holyoke Avenue Water Tower.
The Holyoke Water Tower is still in
the early stages of site excavation
and preparation of the area for the
foundation. This is a long term
project with work on the pedestal
and bowl continuing throughout
the summer and into next year.
The tower is expected to be online
in the fall of 2016.
