Extension of the On-Sale Liquor License for Babes Sports Bar and Grill
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the extension of the On-
Sale Liquor License for Babes Sports Bar and Grill
Passage of this motion will result in the ability of Babes Sports Bar and Grill to serve alcoholic
beverages in their fenced parking lot on July 9-11and to have live entertainment in the fenced in
parking lot of their establishment until midnight on July 10 and 11.
Overview
Babes Sports Bar and Grill has requested an extension of their on-sale liquor license to cover the
sale of alcohol in their fenced in parking lot, as well as live music entertainment, during their
annual Pan-O-Prog events. These events have been held for several years without major issues.
A site plan and an insurance certificate have been provided with the request. The site plan
addresses security issues as well as entrance and exit issues. The establishment will be required to
send a letter to the surrounding neighbors advising them of the event.
The police department reviewed the request and has no objection to the extension of the liquor
license, provided Babes abides by the site plan and attached list of stipulations.

• What measures will be taken to assure that persons under the age of 21 will not have
