HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-29-65LAKEVILLE TOWNSHIP PLANNING CO2ISSION The regular monthly meeting of the Lakeville Township Planning Board was held at the Township Hall July 29th, 1965 at 8:00 P.N. The following members were present: Mr. J. Gralow Mr. S. Kolstad Mr. G. E. Lydon Mr. A. Patenaude Mr. R. Stegmaier Mr. R. Simones The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved bf the Board. The issues presented to the Board were as follows: After considerable discussion a motion was made by R. Stegmaier and seconded by R. Simones to rezone from agricultural to coxmercial-industrial the following parcel or' land, legal description: The East 4 acres of that part of Svi of Sof Sec. 28, T 114, R 20 lying between the C.M.St.P. & P. Ry. and State Highway No. 50 subject to road right-of-way and sewer easement to the Village of Lakeville. The motion was passed unanimously. A plat was presented by the Rath Realty for a housing development, legal description: After viewing the plat a motion was made by J. Gralow and seconded by R. Stegmaier to refer the plat to Midwest Planning and Research, Inc. for future study. Those in favor: J. Gralow, R. Stegmaier; against: A. Patenaude, R. Simones and G. Lyden. Another motion was made by R. Simones and seconded by G. Lyden to recommend plat to Town Board. In favor: R. Simones, S. Kolstad, G. Lyden; against: J. Gralow and A. Patenaude. Mr. Sayres appeared before the Board in regard to his t+obile home and asked for a variance of the Mobile Trailer Ordinance. A motion was made by A. Patenaude and seconded by J. Gralow to deify the request and refer the matter to the Town Boardp In favor of the motion: J. Gralow and A. P�ateruiude. The rest of the members abstained from voting. The Little John Company presented a building plan for a commercial building to be erected on John Jackson's plat which had been rezoned at the previous meeting under certain conditions. A motion was made by R. Stegmaier and seconded by R. Simones to recommend to the Town Board that a permit be grated to the Little John Company for erection of two buildings - one block and one pole type. The pole type building to be erected first and the main block building to be erected during the spring of 1966. In favor of the motion: R. Stegmaier, G. Lyden, R. Simones and J. Gralow. Against: A. Patenaude. A motion was made by R. Simones and seconded by A. Patenaude to recomm_ent to the Town Boa rd that all trucks and all other equipment must be removed from W. Creamer property located on Highway 50. The motion was passed unanimously. A motion was made to adjourn by R. Stegmaier and seconded by J. Gralow. Respectfully submitted; G. E. Lyden, Secretary
