STONE RIDGE FIRST ADDITION
FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC STREETS AND UTILITIES
September 21, 2015 City Council Meeting
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve final acceptance of
public streets and utilities within Stone Ridge First Addition
Passage of this motion will result in approval and acceptance of the developer -installed
public street and utility improvements constructed with the Stone Ridge First Addition
subdivision.
Overview
DR Horton, Inc. is requesting final acceptance of the public street and utility improvements
that were constructed with the development of Stone Ridge First Addition. The prime
contractor responsible for work on this project was Chard Tiling & Excavating, Inc.
The curb and gutter, and bituminous base course pavement and utilities were constructed in
2013. The bituminous wear course pavement was constructed in 2014. The street
improvements for the above -referenced project have been tested and inspected by WSB and
Associates and the Public Works Department.
Primary Issues to Consider
• Do the completed improvements meet City standards? All work was satisfactorily
completed consistent with the City's construction standard specifications and the
Developer has met the administrative requirements for final acceptance.
