Subject: Summary of City Council Actions on Planning Commission Agenda Items
At their November 2, 2015 meeting, the City Council:
• Approved the Kenyon Retail preliminary and final plat of two commercial lots and
conditional use permits to allow more than one principal building on a lot, impervious
surface area greater than 25% in the Lee Lake shoreland overlay district, a convenience
drive-through food use, and a residential (memory) care facility in the C-3 District.
• Approved the Chokecherry Hill 4th Addition highway easement vacation in
conjunction with the final plat of 107 single family lots.
• Approved the vacation of public drainage and utility easements associated with the
final plat of Avonlea 2nd Addition, which is a re-plat of four townhome buildings and
one HOA outlot to correct a building setback issue. The City Council held the public
hearing for the easement vacation as allowed by State Statute to save the developer
two weeks in processing time for his final plat and easement vacation applications.
