Tenant's Leasing Space Rates
Lease agreements are negotiated pursuant to rates, but subject to Negotiated
circumstances, technology, available space, etc.
Cellular Equipment Modification Process for City Monopoles and Water Towers
Plan Submittal:
Cellular companies or their representatives must submit detailed plans and specifications outlining the proposed modifications. The
information must be submitted to the City of Lakeville Administration Department.
Plan Review:
Upon receipt of the information the City will:
Determine if a structural analysis of the monopole or water tower needs to be completed. If so, the plans will be sent to Ulteig to
obtain a cost estimate for a structural analysis and to KLM Engineering for a cost estimate to performing the plan review and
inspection services
The estimates will be provided to cellular company representatives and an escrow to cover
the costs of the services provided by Ulteig and KLM must be submitted to the City prior to

structural analysis — whichever is later. The process insures that all carriers are provided a reasonable amount of time to make

Preconstruction Meeting:
A preconstruction meeting must be coordinated by the cellular company or its representatives with the
Utilities Superintendent, KLM Engineering, and the cellular company's contractors and sub -contractors.
Building Permit:
A separate building permit may also be required from the City in addition to the authorization to proceed.

Sewer Rates
Residential
- Charges shall be based on actual water consumption, or the water consumed during the first quarter of the year, whichever is less.
- When an account is newly established, the sewer maximum charge shall be set at 18,000 gallons of sewer use.
Sewer charge for the remainder of the year will be at this figure, or actual usage, whichever is less. The total for 18,000 gallons is therefore
$71.27.
- A basic sewer charge of $7.19/dwelling unit per quarter will be charged for all accounts.
- Cost per thousand gallons shall be $3.56.
- A flat rate of $71.20/dwelling unit per quarter shall be charged to those residential customers who do not have metered water.

determined by dividing the total gallons of water by number of units.
- Charges shall be based on actual water consumption, or the water consumed during the first quarter of the year, whichever is less.
- A basic sewer charge of $7.19 per quarter per dwelling unit will be charged for all accounts.
- Cost per thousand gallons of consumption shall be $3.56.
- The charges per dwelling unit shall be based on a minimum of 5,000 gallons per quarter.
When a separate deduct meter is installed and is limited to uses that cannot enter the sewer system, no charge shall be made for sewer on the
water metered for said meter.

The Environmental Resources fee for each tax parcel classified 1 & 2 is the single-family residential fee. The fee for classifications 3, 4, 5 & 6 is
the single-family residential fee multiplied by the utility factor. The fee for classifications 7, 8, 9 & 30 is calculated as follows: fee for single-
family residential multiplied by the utility factor multiplied by the acreage of the parcel. For tax parcels classified 7, 8, 9 & 10 with less than
42% impervious surface the fee shall be adjusted by multiplying the fee by the percentage of impervious surface and then dividing by 42%.
Head of households over 65 years of age or living on social security or Pension income alone:
- Enrolled on or before December 7, 1998 shall be entitled to a 30% discount on water and sanitary sewer services to homesteaded
residential properties as described above. Said accounts are also exempt from street light charges.
- Enrolled after December 7, 1998 shall be entitled to a 30% discount on water, sanitary sewer and street light services to homesteaded
residential properties as described above subject to a maximum discount based on ten thousand gallons of usage.
A monthly penalty of 1.5% of the unpaid balance or $1.00, whichever is greater, will be charged on all delinquent accounts that are greater
than $10.00. No penalty will be charged on closed accounts.
Accounts certified to the County Treasurer/Auditor for collection with the subsequent year's taxes will be charged a $35.00 service charge plus
