Passage of this motion will result in accepting the donated commemorative Civil War Sesquicentennial Tribute Revolver. Overview William Studer offered to donate a commemorative Civil War Sesquicentennial Tribute Revolver, black powder revolver, valued at $1,800.00 to the Lakeville Police Department. The Lakeville Police Department recommends accepting this donation, which may be displayed or used as trade in for duty firearms. Primary Issues to Consider • The Lakeville Police Department appreciates the support of our community and thanks William Studer for his continued support. The Lakeville Police Department recommends accepting this donation, which may be displayed or used as trade in for duty firearms,; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that the donation of a commemorative Civil War Sesquicentennial Tribute Revolver, black powder revolver, valued at $1,800.00 from William Studer, is hereby accepted.
