SEEDING AND MULCHING
1. Enviro-fence (fabric filter barriers) shall be placed as shown on this plan and at other locations as
directed by the engineer and shall be rnaintained during the entire construction period
2. Catch Basins shall be protected with fabric filter barriers prior to construction of curb and gutter, and
with block and gravel curb inlet filters and after construction of curb and gutter. See erosion control
details.
3. The contractor shall seed all disturbed areas with MNDOT mix 500 seed at a rate of 75 lbs per Ac,
Also add a nurse crop of oats to the seed mixture at a rate of 100 lbs per Ac. And shall mulch with type
1 mulch at a rate of 2 tons per Ac. And immediately Disc Anchor.'
4, Fertilizer shall be 20-10-10 applied at 100 lbs per Ac.
R.O.W. L The contractor shall seed and mulch the above areas within 48 hours of rough grading and within 15
days after final grade has been reached on any portion of the site. The contractor shall maintain said
seeding and mulching until satisfactory turf -establishment.
a. Re- vegetation of all areas disturbed by utility construction shall be in compliance with numbers 3,4, and
5 above.
7. Enviro- fence shall be removed upon the direction of the engineer.
IL Wood fiber blanket stall be used on all 3:1 slopes and/or as directed by the engineer.
