ACCEPT DONATION
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept donation from Joey
Miller, Country Joe Homes.
Passage of this motion will result in accepting the donated equipment.
Overview
Joey Miller, Country Joe Homes, offered to donate a Reconyx Hyperfire License Plate Capture
camera valued at $649.95 and a Reconyx Hyperfire Security camera valued at $1,199.95 to the
Lakeville Police Department.
The Lakeville Police Department recommends accepting this donation in order to reduce
theft from construction sites.
Primary Issues to Consider
• The Lakeville Police Department appreciates the support of our community and
thanks Joey Miller, Country Joe Homes, for its continued support.

ACCEPT DONATION
WHEREAS, Joey Miller, Country Joe Homes, has offered to donate a Reconyx Hyperfire License
Plate Capture camera valued at $649.95 and a Reconyx Hyperfire Security camera valued at
$1,199.95 to the Lakeville Police Department.
The Lakeville Police Department recommends accepting this donation in order to reduce theft
from construction sites; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal
property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that the
donation of a Reconyx Hyperfire License Plate Capture camera and a Reconyx Hyperfire Security
camera from Joey Miller, Country Joe Homes, is hereby accepted.
ADOPTED by the Lakeville City Council this 19th day of January, 2016
