HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 07 Date: Item No. PUBLIC HEARING EL PARIAN MEXICAN RESTAURANT ON-SALE AND SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to grant an on-sale and Sunday liquor license to El Parian Mexican Restaurant of Lakeville, LLC. Overview El Parian Mexican Restaurant of Lakeville, LLC (applicant Jose Rodriguez-Alvarez) has applied for an on-sale and Sunday liquor license at El Parian Mexican Grill, 17557 Glasgow Avenue. Mr. Rodriguez-Alvarez plans to take over the restaurant and liquor license currently held by Aldo Escoto, El Parian Mexican Restaurant #3, Inc. The restaurant has seating for 119 guests. There is no outdoor patio and no live entertainment. Alcohol will be served with meals, and service is restricted to the main floor. The applicant has applied for the optional 2 a.m. liquor license from the State of Minnesota. Primary Issues to Consider • The applicant meets all Minnesota Statute and Lakeville ordinance requirements for the licenses requested.
