RESOLUTION NO. 16- 147
RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC ROADWAY, TRAILWAY, DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on October 17, 2016, preceded by
two (2) weeks published notice, to consider the vacation of public roadway, trailway, drainage
and utility easements Doc. No 1708967, 1780605, and 1674635 and as platted with Outlot B,
Celebration Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the public interest to vacate said
public roadway, trailway, drainage and utility easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council:
1. The following public roadway, trailway, drainage and utility easements are hereby vacated,
subject to the recording of the Schneidermans Furniture final plat:
(SEE ATTACHED EXHIBITS)
2. The City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Dakota
County Recorder.

Beginning at a point on the west line of the SE1/4 of said Section 1,
distant 1200.11 feet south of the northwest corner thereof; thence
South 89 degrees 39 minutes 48 seconds East, parallel with the
south line of the NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of said Section 1, 496.96 feet
to the westerly line of Interstate Highway No. 35; thence South 15
