HomeMy WebLinkAboutHRA Item 03 Date: Item No. HRA MEETING CONVEYANCE OF 20014 KENWOOD TRAIL FROM THE LAKEVILLE HRA TO THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to adopt a resolution for the conveyance of property located at 20014 Kenwood Trail from the City of Lakeville HRA to the City of Lakeville. Overview The above property is located adjacent to City of Lakeville owned parcels located at the northeast corner of Kenwood Trail and Ipava Avenue next to Ames Ice Arena. All of these parcels are included in the proposed Kenwood Trail Business Park plat. It is recommended that the HRA convey ownership to these lots to the City which owns the adjacent properties. This will also eliminate the need for the HRA to sign the Final Plat mylars. Primary Issues to Consider • What is the benefit of this proposed conveyance? It will result in consolidation of the ownership of these publicly owned parcels into one platted outlot that will be owned by the City.
