HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.d March 20, 2017 Item No. ______ CROSSROADS EAST SECOND ADDITION FINAL PLAT EXTENSION Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve a 100 day extension for the Crossroads East Second Addition final plat. Overview Due to the pending expiration of the Crossroads East Second Addition final plat on March 25, 2017, the applicant requests a 100 day extension to the final plat the City Council approved on September 16, 2016 and extended December 19, 2016 as allowed by the Subdivision Ordinance. The Crossroads East Second Addition final plat consists of one commercial lot and one outlot and requires recording the final plat by March 25, 2017 or the final plat will expire unless it is extended by the City Council. The applicant indicates that closing on the property scheduled for March 15, 2017, but the extension will cover any unforeseen delays in having the plat recorded with Dakota County by that date. The 100 day extension will give the developer until July 3, 2017 to record the final plat.
