RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENTS TO
COUNCIL COMMITTEES AND INTER-AGENCIES
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve resolution approving
appointments to City Council committees and inter-agencies.
Overview
Internal committees are established to keep the City Council informed on various elements of the
City’s operations. Committee members review policies and procedures and make
recommendations to the full council.
Representation on the various external groups that interact with the City keep the City Council
informed of the regulations, services and policies of those organizations.
Council members annually review their committee and inter-agency assignments. At their
January 7th retreat, council members agreed to the appointments for 2017 as outlined in the
attached resolution.

Have council members been provided with pertinent information regarding each of the
committees and/or organizations?
Information was provided at the January 7th City Council retreat.

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COUNCIL COMMITTEES
AND INTER-AGENCY APPOINTMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council believes it to be advantageous to facilitate the duties and
responsibilities of the City Council by Committee and Inter-agency assignments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following Council Committee and
Inter-agency appointments are hereby established and thereto approved for 2017:
