RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF
MULTI-PURPOSE TRAILER
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept a donation of a multi-
purpose trailer from the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation.
Overview
The Lakeville Public Safety Foundation, a charity supporting police and fire departments in
Lakeville, has purchased a multi-purpose trailer, insured value of $30,000, for Lakeville Police
Department. The 2018 Forest River 18EC replaces a 1993 Ford Ambulance. It is a general-
purpose trailer, allowing for more universal use including City events and any event where
Officers, Reserves or other critical personnel are stationed for long periods of time.
Primary Issues to Consider
• Gifts and donations required approval of City Council.
• The Police Department appreciates the support of our community and thanks the
Lakeville Public Safety Foundation for continued support.
