Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept a donation of 35 Go-Bags,
valued at $10,185.00, from the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation.
Overview
The Lakeville Public Safety Foundation, a charity supporting police and fire departments in
Lakeville, donated 35 “Go-Bags”, containing emergency supplies for critical incidents. Each Go-

Critical incidents, such as school or business-place shootings, active shooters and mass casualty

Primary Issues to Consider
• Go-Bags positively impact LPD’s work and mission should they be faced with critical
incidents.
• Gifts and donations required approval of City Council.
