Overview The City of Lakeville has technology assets that are at end of life and no longer serve a useful function for the organization. The assets described in the attached 2017 Cisco Phone Asset Disposal need to be authorized for disposal by council. Some phones go to Cisco for trade-in with the remainder going to a local vendor for disposal. Primary Issues to Consider • Is the City reimbursed for Cisco Phone Assets? Some will be used for trade-in on newer models. Certain models that can be re-sold, receive reimbursement from the vendor disposing of the remaining sets less the cost to dispose of those not eligible to be re-sold.
