ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS AND FINAL PAYMENT TO NORTHWEST
ASPHALT, INC. FOR CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 16-0 1
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to accept improvement and approve
final payment to Northwest Asphalt, Inc. for City Improvement Project 16-01.
Overview
Northwest Asphalt, Inc. is requesting acceptance of the improvements and payment of the final
pay voucher in the amount of $29,754.08 for the 2016 Miscellaneous Roadway Repairs, City
Improvement Project 16-01. This closes this project.
Attached is a summary of costs and change orders associated with the project. The original
contract amount was $998,841.97. The final contract amount is $963,960.44. Cost reductions to
the original contract amount are the result of unused quantities and services.
All necessary paperwork, including lien waivers, the IC-134’s and Consent of Surety to Final
Payment have been submitted. Staff recommends acceptance and approval of the final pay
estimate.

• Was all work satisfactorily completed? All work was satisfactorily completed and the
contractor has met the administrative requirements for final payment.
