ON-SALE AND SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE
REYLI, INC. (TERESA’S MEXICAN RESTAURANT)
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to grant an on-sale and Sunday
liquor license to Reyli, Inc. d.b.a. Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant.
Overview
Julio Angel-Mata has applied for an on-sale and Sunday liquor license at Teresa’s Mexican
Restaurant, 20202 Heritage Drive. Mr. Mata has worked for the owner of Teresa’s, Felipe Mata,
for more than 12 years. He has managed the Lakeville, Golden Valley and Prior Lake restaurants
and is now purchasing the Lakeville business.
Liquor licenses are not transferrable. Therefore, a new license is required.
The Police Department conducted a background investigation on the applicant and found
nothing of concern.
Primary Issues to Consider
• Does the applicant meet all requirements for the licenses requested?
• The applicant meets all City and State requirements for an on-sale and Sunday liquor
license.

On September 25, 2017 I was assigned to the liquor license background investigation of
Teresa's Mexican Restaurant.
The above person(s) was listed on the Liquor On-Sale and Sunday Liquor On-Sale
application and completed the required personal information application for a liquor
license.
The following automated databases were checked to conduct this background; DVS,
MNCIS, in -house records, and criminal history files.
Conclusion
The background investigation is complete.
Based on State Statute and Lakeville City Code, the applicants meet the qualifications for
the requested Liquor Licenses listed above.
