FOR CSAH 5 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT 172ND STREET AND KENYON AVENUE Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve final acceptance of public street and utility improvements and final payment to Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc. for CSAH 5 Intersection Improvements at 172nd Street and Kenyon Avenue, City Project 13-07. Overview Minnesota Dirt Works, Inc. requests final acceptance of public street and utility improvements and final payment in the amount of $93,069.27 for City Project 13-07. The original contract amount was $1,523,159.05. Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $136,705.09 was approved by the City Council on February 21, 2017 resulting in an adjusted contract amount of $1,659,864.14. The final construction cost is $1,632,815.33. Primary Issues to Consider • The public street and utility improvements were tested and inspected by the City’s Public Works Department. All work was completed consistent with the contract and the administrative requirements for final payment. Supporting Information • None.
