HomeMy WebLinkAbout0484 ORDINANCE NO. 484 CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 5 OF THE LAREVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING THE WATER AND SANITARY SEWER SY8TEM8 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 7-5-4-6 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read: Sec. 7-5-4-6: Testing of Meters.. Whenever a water user questions the accuracy of the meter and desires to have the meter tested, the water user shall pay a fee, such fee to be set by City Council resolution at its first regular meeting each fiscal year, if the meter tests accurate within the range of minus three percent (-3~} to plus one and one-half percent (+1 1/20). If it is not accurate within this range, no charge will be made for testing and an adjustment on the water bill will be made for the period of time that the meter is assumed to be inaccurate, as determined by the City, not to exceed two (2) billing periods.
