HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.f Date: Item No. AIRLAKE HOSPITALITY (HAMPTON INN) SITE IMPROVEMENT PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the Site Improvement Performance Agreement (SIPA) with Airlake Hospitality (Hampton Inn). Overview Airlake Hospitality purchased the property located at 20851 Keokuk Avenue with plans to construct a Hampton Inn hotel. On October 16, 2017, the City Council approved a conditional use permit to allow building height in excess of three stories or 35 feet for the construction of the hotel in the C-3 District. Development of the site requires site plan and building permit approval by City staff and approval of a SIPA by the City Council. Primary Issues to Consider Does the site plan meet Zoning Ordinance requirements? The site plan complies with Zoning Ordinance requirements and the approved CUP.
