HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.i October 15, 2018 Item No. ______ HERITAGE COMMONS 7TH ADDITION PROPOSED ACTION Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve the first amendment to the Heritage Commons 7th Addition development contract. OVERVIEW The Heritage Commons 7th Addition final plat, easement vacation, conditional use permit and development contract were approved by the City Council on August 20, 2018 to allow a senior assisted living facility in the C-3, General Commercial District. The facility will be located at the southeast corner of Heritage Drive and Iberia Avenue. The development contract amendment describes the plans for the alternate access for city utilities. Due to on-site utility locating, it was discovered that the 2001 Heritage Commons as- built construction plans show the sanitary sewer and water utilities in the incorrect location. With confirmation that the utilities are entirely within Lot 1, Block 1, Heritage Commons 7th Addition, the private utility access and maintenance agreement is no longer required prior to recording of the final plat.
