LAKEVILLE BURGER LLC
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to grant an on-sale and Sunday
liquor license and outdoor patio to Lakeville Burger LLC d.b.a. B-52 Burgers & Brew, 20751
Holyoke Avenue.
Overview
Lakeville Burger LLC has applied for an on-sale and Sunday liquor license at the former Erickson
Drug building in downtown Lakeville. B-52 Burgers & Brew will consist of a full-service
restaurant with a bar and outdoor patio. The patio application has been reviewed by the
planning, building inspections and police departments, and all recommend approval.
The police department conducted a background investigation on the partners Brandon
Bramscher, Ryan Wentz, Mark Reese and Michael McMahon, and found no reason to deny the
license requested. Ryan Wentz will be present at Monday night’s public hearing.
Primary Issues to Consider
• Does the applicant meet all requirements for the licenses requested?
• The applicant meets all City and State requirements for an on-sale and Sunday liquor
license.

On November 13, 2018, I was assigned to the liquor license background investigation of
the B-52 Burgers and Brew.
The above person(s) were listed on the license application and completed the required
personal information application.
The following automated databases were checked to conduct this background; DVS,
MNCIS, in-house records, and criminal history files.
Conclusion
The background investigation is complete.
Based on State Statute and Lakeville ordinance, the applicants meet the qualifications for
a liquor and Sunday liquor license for B-52 Burgers and Brew.
