HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 06.s Date: December 17, 2018 Item No. FINAL ACCEPTANCE AND FINAL PAYMENT TO FRIEDGES CONTRACTING FOR 222ND STREET ROADWAY AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve final acceptance of public street and utility improvements and final payment to Friedges Contracting Inc. for 222nd Street Roadway and Utility Improvements, City Project 17-07. Overview Friedges Contracting Inc. requests final acceptance of public street and utility improvements and final payment in the amount of $9,006.24 for City Project 17-07. The original contract amount was $907,238.00. No change orders were processed for this project. The final construction cost is $900,623.60. Primary Issues to Consider • The public street and utility improvements were tested and inspected by WSB & Associates, Inc. All work was completed consistent with the Contract and the administrative requirements for final payment.
