HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 09 Date: Item No. Report on City Administrator’s Performance Evaluation Proposed Action Staff recommends that the Personnel Committee summarize the conclusion of the City Administrator’s performance evaluation. Overview The Mayor and City Council held a closed session on December 10, 2018 to conduct the annual performance evaluation of City Administrator Justin Miller. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 13D.05 subd. 3 (a), the City Council must be report the conclusions at the next open meeting of the City Council. Per the City Administrator’s employment agreement, the Mayor and City Council will also review compensation on an annual basis. Any change to the City Administrator’s annual salary that is determined during the performance evaluation session will be reported at the open meeting as part of the summary. A motion should be made accepting the results of the performance evaluation and set the City Administrator’s annual salary with an effective date of December 29, 2018.
