PATRICK’S DAY EVENT Proposed Action Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve a temporary on-sale liquor license to VFW Post 210 for an outdoor event in downtown Lakeville on March 16, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Overview VFW Post 210 has requested a temporary on-sale liquor license for an outdoor event featuring live music, food and drinks in the parking lot between Lakeville Brewing Company and Angry Inch Brewing on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Alcoholic beverages would be served from 12:00 until 6:00 p.m. Live entertainment will take place from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. The parking lot, which is owned by Metro Equity Management, will be fenced. Only those who are 21 years of age or older will be permitted. No alcohol will be permitted to leave or enter the event area. The Police Department reviewed the request and has no objection to the temporary liquor license, provided VFW Post 210 abides by the event plan and the attached additional stipulations not covered in the event plan. Primary Issues to Consider Event organizers will have eight security personnel on site in addition to law enforcement as directed by the Police Department.
