TREE TRIMMING AND REMOVAL
LICENSE RENEWAL FOR 2010

Item No.
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Renewal of licenses to conduct the
business of tree trimming and removal.
Overview
Eighteen businesses have submitted renewal applications to conduct tree trimming and
removal in the City of Lakeville. As required by City ordinance, each business has
submitted the $25 annual license fee, a certificate of liability insurance and proof of
workers compensation insurance.
Primary Issues to Consider
• Persons are not allowed to conduct the business of tree trimming and
removal in the City of Lakeville without first obtaining a license and submitting
the annual license fee and certificate of liability insurance.
Supporting Information
Renewal applications and insurance certificates are on file in the City Clerk's office.
