RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF ASSETS
Proposed Action
Staff recommends approval of the following motion: Move to approve a resolution
authorizing the sale of assets from various City Departments as listed on Exhibit C of
the proposed resolution.
Passage of this resolution would allow the sale of assets to be sold through auction.
Overview
At the March 15th City Council Meeting, the City Council approved the sale of several
assets to be sold through auction.
Subsequent to approval of the resolution, additional items have been received or
located that various departments would like to incorporate into the auction. As before,
these additional items are either dealer loaders that the Liquor Department has
received, or items from other departments which have exceeded their useful life span.
In addition there are several dealer load items that were previously authorized by
auction, which are being retained by various other city departments; these items are
listed on Exhibit D.
Staff is recommending that the additional items listed on Exhibit C be added to those
previously approved for sale.
Primary Issues to Consider
What are the assets recommended for sale?
The assets are listed on Exhibit C (attached).
