Overview Annually, the Panorama of Progress community celebration uses numerous park facilities for a variety of Pan-O-Prog events. During 2010, approximately 26 events are scheduled at a variety of Lakeville park locations, Senior Center and the Arts Center. Attached for your review is a proposed schedule of 2010 events, their dates, times and locations. Utilization of Lakeville parks for Panorama of Progress events has worked well for many years. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF CERTAIN PARKS, SENIOR CENTER AND ARTS CENTER FOR 2010 PANORAMA OF PROGRESS CITY CELEBRATION WHEREAS, the City supports the annual Panorama of Progress City celebration; and WHEREAS, many Lakeville park sites, Senior Center and Lakeville Area Arts Center are used to facilitate the various programs sponsored by the Panorama of Progress Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, the parks have been used to facilitate Panorama of Progress events for many years; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that certain parks within the City of Lakeville, the Senior Center and Arts Center identified in the attachment are authorized to be used for the designated 2010 Panorama of Progress events approved and adopted by the Lakeville City Council.
