TULLAMORE PRELIMINARY PLAT EXTENSION
MAY 3, 2010 CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Proposed Action
Staff recommends adoption of the following motion: Move to approve a one-year extension
for the Tullamore preliminary plat.
Adoption of this motion will extend the timeframe for the submittal of a final plat application
for the Tullamore preliminary plat by one year.
Overview
Nancy Blair, Vice President of Wells Fargo Bank is requesting a one year extension for the
Tullamore preliminary plat. The preliminary plat was approved by the City Council on June
19, 2006. Wells Fargo acquired the property through foreclosure from Insignia
Development, LLC and Lakeville Partners, LLC. The City Council approved the preliminary
plat on June 19, 2006 with extensions of the preliminary plat approved on August 31,
2006, April 7, 2008 and April 20, 2009. The Tullamore preliminary plat consists of 148
single family homes on land located north of 170th Street and west of Pilot Knob Road
(CSAR 31).
Planning Department staff recommends that the City Council grant an extension for the
Tullamore preliminary plat until May 2, 2011.
Primary Issues to Consider
• What will happen to the Tullamore preliminary plat if the extension is not granted? The
preliminary plat would become null and void requiring a new preliminary plat approval.
