HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-093v CITY OF LAKEVILLE ,RESOLUTION t Date December 1�Resolution No. 78-93 Motion _ ' Motion by Qurrx_ Seconded by Spande w A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A WAGE SCHEDULE BY POSITION AND PROVIDING POLICY ON THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the City Council has received a compensation report for various employee positions; and WHREAS, the report was based on job content analysis by position, and comparison of other public and private employment wage rates for this area and similar positions; and WHEREAS, the report recommends wage rates that are competitive and within the ability of the City to pay; and WHEREAS, the establishment of a wage schedule by position will pro- vide for effective administration of a clear wage plan for employees. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The following wage schedule by position is established effec- tive January 1,,1979. Wage Schedule (Per Hr.) position - Clerical Start 12 Mo. 24 Mo. 36_ *. 4_ 8 Mo. Persons employed on December 31, 1978 shall be placed on the wage schedale it their respective position, on the stepinear- est the time employed by the City totals, including any pre- vious experience approved when first employed. If III. Employees progress across the wage schedule when they have completed the time required indicated by the schedule on a satisfactory basis.
